I will likely order the Jonny Quest wave 1 here in a week or so once my budget recovers a bit. I might order the Scooby Doo first wave too, depending on finances. -M

I just ordered these two items this afternoon. They were the very definition of Saturday morning TV for kids – Superman, Batman and Robin, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Wendy, Marvin, and Wonder Dog, then the Wonder Twins and Gleek, all wrapped up in a full-color, animated package called the Super Friends. Beginning in 1973 with the original hourlong series, then continuing through the 1980s, these heroes fought for justice, putting evil criminals (and quite a few misguided scientists!) in their place and making the world safe for mankind. What child of the ‘70s and ‘80s didn’t love these adventures on Saturday morning, cereal bowl in hand? And new generations of kids continue to discover the Super Friends through re-airings and DVDs. Now Will Rodgers, a lifelong fan of the Super Friends, writes this ultimate companion to the series. Volume 1 of the print edition, which covers the 1970s incarnations of the "Super Friends," offers up goodies like these: Lengthy commentary and analysis of each episode of the 1970s series Character profiles of the heroes and villains A rundown of the DVD content for each '70s series Features on the history of the five main heroes in comics and other media and on the writing style of the "Super Friends" Retrospectives of superhero teamups over the years and the history of DC and Warner Bros. classic animation Volume 2 of the print edition, which covers the 1980s incarnations of the "Super Friends," offers up goodies like these: Lengthy commentary and analysis of each episode of the 1980s series Character profiles of the heroes and villains A rundown of the DVD content for each '80s series An index to every character's appearances in the episodes A look at the toylines pertaining to our heroes A guide to the Super Friends comic books Will leaves no stone unturned in his heavyweight analysis of the Super Friends. Join him at the Hall of Justice for this gigantic journey into geekery. As a special treat to fans, Shannon Farnon, the original voice of Wonder Woman, writes the foreword, and talented Baltimore artist Dale Cuthbertson offers his own interpretation of our heroes for the book's cover!

I don't think so. I just plan to finish out the Legion, and Hawkman, if they release him. I think he's the last Super Friend on the case that hasn't been produced.

I don't think I posted these here either.....a group of pins from Fan Sets. I contacted them through Facebook, and they said at one point this summer, they'll be doing Limited Edition pins for other Super Friends characters.

The better question is, what don't I collect? Video Games, Books, VHS tapes, DVDs, Music CDs, Casettes (the latter of which I play in my Tiger R2-D2 "Data Droid" Boom Box), Happy Meal toys, etc My crowned jewel of possession however, which is as dumb as a sack of wet rocks, is my Wacky Packages binder that contains a good bit of the revival run from the 2000's Or at least as much as I could con my mother and grandmother into getting me Second up is something I got at a Shriner's swap-meet, a display board for "Muppet Soda" that I've spent a good number of years trying to hunt down. Apparently Jim Henson was notoriously protective of the Muppets and what they would license out the characters for. Which I find a bit hypocritical when watching the old Wilkens coffee commercials they did for Sam & Friends

I remember those Wacky Packages! I don't recall if I collected them, but I remember seeing them as a kid! I just found (and bought) on ebay a piece of super friends memorabilia that I didn't know existed. I have the bed sheets (stored away), but never knew there was a bed cover as well. I managed to snag it for only $20.00! Here are two different shots.
