What I can tell you though is that Contact, Dropise and a Life Force are often grouped together as The Contract With God trilogy, so there is some thematic overlap and all are drawn form Eisner's experiences in NYC, but I don't know if there is any iverlap with plot and/or characters. -M No overlap of characters; it's the neighborhood that connects the stories. Same time period?

The Incal just came in the mail today. I always cheat and start Read a Graphic Novel over Presidents' Day weekend (I have more time to read then!), so I'll likely be cracking that one open in just a few days

I'll have to pick one I think I can finish in a week. I should have plenty of choices

I'll be working on Duncan the Wonder Dog, but it's probably going to take me more than a week.

I'll likely still be in the middle of Le Cri du peuple so if, as I expect, I'm too far from the end to finish it within that week maybe I'll try to slip in something else that's shorter. I have lots of stuff here that I haven't read so it'll probably come down to whatever I happen to be in the mood for at the time.

I definitely plan to reread an Eisner book (unless I buy a new one between now and then). Perhaps "The Dreamer".
Beyond that I'll be going with the "collected story" graphic novel standard we seem to be agreeing on in that other thread.
I have several recently purchased to read.
Cages by Dave McKean just arrived and is a likely contender.
I've also been sitting on Black Hole by Charles Burns for a while now.

Going to hit the library tomorrow and raid their Will Eisner section. They have pretty much every GN he ever published. I'm definitely going to pick up Dropsie Avenue and will see what else piques my interest. I've got my own copy of Contract with God at home, of course.

Got to the library today and grabbed a few Will Eisner books: Gonna be a fun week (and, certainly, a little more than that!)

I recently picked up the rest of the DC Science Fiction Graphic Novel series so I'll be reading those this week.

I've got 5 books lined up for RaGNW my Eisner entry: The Neighborhood: Dropsie Avenue (I hope to do one every year for Eisner week) others... -Richard Stark's Parker Book Two: The Outfit by Darwyn Cooke -Shuddertown by Nick Spencer and Adam Green -The Horns of Elfland by Charles Vess -Heartburst by Rick Veitch we will see if I get to them all, but that's the pile I am intending on reading for the event this year. What do y'all have in mind? -M Read all of these, plus a few extras like A Contract with God, The Original Nexus and Barbarian Lord. All in all, lots of good reaidng for RAGNW 2016, even if Shuddetown was a stinker. -M
