That art looks great, much better than my primitive cave drawing attempts. Shax's review helped as well so yeah, just bought a copy. Looking forward to this.

Just noticed this. Fantastic achievement Roquefort! Looks like it's right up my alley too, may have to pick this up when I've got some extra cash.

I didn't catch it until now, but volume 2 is up for sale: editionsroquefort.com/livres/As always, the print version is in French, but Ben is continuing to provide English-speaking buyers with an English PDF version upon purchase. You can also just purchase the English PDF version for $5. Anyway, I just ordered my print version. CANNOT WAIT!

Dear All,
I just downloaded the first two parts of Roquefort Raider's stories today and I was very impressed by the artwork that he did in this series especially part 2 entitled "Dagar" his depth of perspective, his layouts, and most importantly kept everything in focus that I really enjoyed seeing it all together.
I wasn't prepared of the incredible details of his art and the storytelling that he did to me it's stoke of genius on his part. I really was impressed by the opening sequence of the 2nd part and the introductory part of the first story that was excellent by the way.
Roquefort did even greater job of editing the story and that alone isn't an easy thing to do and one thing that really like is the incorporation of different fonts through his story that makes it very easy on your eyes and therefore makes it's a fast read on it's own. Both stories boast that and that's something that today's comics failed to do and I wanted to point that out to all of you here.
I was very curious about this and I'm looking forward getting Part 3 and Part 4 in the near future. I felt that his work was first rate and his art is incredible!
Highly Recommended

I still feel weird about having this in the fan-fiction section. It's clearly professional work!

I still feel weird about having this in the fan-fiction section. It's clearly professional work! Give Him his own hosted sub-forum where his adoring or irate fans can make him feel uncomfortable/give him a hard time! I'm still holding out for the hard copy of the two English translations BTW.

Just finished volume 2 and wrote up a review here. It's in the Modern Comics section because it absolutely and positively does not belong in the Fan Art section. Ben has taken his work leaps and bounds beyond even volume 1. To even call this adequate professional work would be an insult. this is a modern frickin' classic.

I have been reading 10 pages at a time (it's 54 pages) and I can say this - his imagination, writing, art, and layouts are the first four things that I can think of that this is a stroke of genius on his part. I've already read 14 pages of his 1st story of his book and I consider it nothing short of a masterpiece.

I will give you a full review by Saturday at the latest - the 1st book is a quality piece of work and I'm stunned by the visuals and sometimes I tend to forget about reading it because of visuals.
