Thats right. Art was born in Forest Hills and Paul moved into the area as a young teen. Next door to Forest Hills is the area called Corona which Paul Simon mentioned in Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard. The two bothers that formed The Ramones, who I mentioned in the past I used to hang out with at the park when they were known as Mitch and Jeff Hyman. I'm guessing that her preference for diet soda is just something the writers made up for silly jokes, similar to The Martian Manhunter loving Oreos. |

Bill Loebs published a short story in an underground comic about a crimefighting transvestite. He titled it, "Rex Mason, Boy Transvestite." I think the DC version is better at transforming, overall.
The underground Slow Death featured a poignant, wordless strip about the death if Blackhawk (which I've always assumed to be the canonical death of the Earth-X Blackhawk).
