When did he do the Goon? I have every issue and I don't remember that he worked on it. Did he do the first Aliens series? I liked that. I've read some of the other stuff on the list and didn't have much of a reaction to it.. but there's nothing I remember enough about to criticize.
(I generally have the same reaction to Ed Brubaker's mainstream work. I've read a bunch of it, and it totally... exists. Kind of like water.)

He also did a Martian Manhunter issue back in the 90s, I think. It's collected in Son of Mars, if I remember correctly. I'm definitely will be checking this out and this news caught me by surprise here! I don't remember much of the rest of the run, but the Arcudi issue is quite good. An interesting mystery presented from multiple points of view.

He did write the awesome Goon story illustrated by Kevin Nowlan in a mini. He didn't write the first Aliens series (indeed very good), but he did write 4 great minis : Stronghold, Genocide, Alchemy, and the weird one from 2009 that wold have been hte greatest ever if it got to be the ongoing it originaly was meant to be. I've been contemplating doing an Aliens comics review thread, since most of the series have been really good, probably the best movie franchise comics adaptation ever.

I've read Stronghold and Alchemy (and liked both of 'em.) The Goon story was probably Dwight D. Albatross presents, which I don't remember much of anything about, except the strange, fake, publisher statement. I am really deficient in my Hellboy reading, although the library has a bunch of it. I should get caught up.
