Signal To Noise and Black Orchid are my main picks. Sandman is too long and consequently uneven. I also voted for Miracleman (not Apocrypha), we'll see if the new material downgrades the overall quality.

The Last Temptation is by far my favorite comic by Gaiman(So I went with other) but I also really enjoy Overture and Star Dust too.

Man, I bought Last Temptation when it got released, and I don't remember finding it that good, quite messy actually. I might have to revisit it soon...

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I'm not sure if I've read anything of his outside his Vertigo work. Sandman is nearly perfect, and I've been buying almost everything Neil Gaiman's name is on since I discovered him (with Black Orchid iirc), but much of his stuff is still in the massive 'unread' piles/boxes.

In all fairness, I can't vote for Sandman for I have yet to read all of it.
Therefore, for me, it's Death:The High Cost of Living followed by Books of Magic (Harry who?)
