C'mon, you never thought I could post all these pudding pronouncements, never in your wildest dreams did you surmise that pudding was involved in the founding of the United States, that a King Of England was responsible for pudding mania or that life on earth itself stemmed from a pudding type substance from outer space. Pudding rules in the world of fashion and the arts. And our family tables. Can't forget that. Pudding produces prosperity. Its good stuff
But there is a dark side of pudding. For there to be a yin there is a yang. Pudding can bring out evil. There is bad pudding, beware (I'm not talking about banana pudding).
I really dislike bringing this up. I tried to have a positive pudding parade of posts. But this can't be ignored. We need to be honest

Ish, I've resisted your pudding thread up until today.
and then I buckled
When I was younger, I worked at one of only two Jell-O pudding plants in the entire US.
and no one has brought up Pudding Pops yet
is it because of Bill Cosby ?
Those of us old enough to remember have probably repressed because of the whole pudding - Bill Cosby-rape-allegations controversy.
But let me assure you, there was a time when Pudding Pops were enjoyed and openly consumed, in a more innocent and free-spirited time
those were the days

And so the all seeing eye of hondobrode sheds the light of the dark side of the pudding force How? How can a dessert so tasty, so fulfilling, get involved in the sordid affairs of what 537 women now claim to be true? Bill Cosby has been the spokesman for Jello Brand pudding pops for close to 2 decades. No one on this planet has been exposed to pudding pops for so long and been so closely associated for as long as that and has been in the public eye. 227 pets belonging to the 537 women also corraborate to these allegations. Is this a manifestation of the long term effects of pudding? Or is it the taint of Jello? Does Jared and his Subway sandwiches have any involvement? I say to you, pudding purveyors of this particular podium, no-I vow to you-I will embark on an investigative search that has put a black mark on our treasured cup of pudding (no wait..it's a dead fly, not a black mark, how did that fly get on the cup?). The truth needs to come out. We must make the world safe for future pudding consumption. Women should not fear men who enjoy pudding. Your opinions on this matter is most certainly welcome

You know, we have been having a fun time on this thread, well at least I have. The joy of pudding and it's many nuances have been both eye-opening and delicious. And with the exception of Bill Cosby and his perverted pudding pops, it's been funny, educational , provocative and especially sweet But I'd like to take this occassion to remind folks of another black mark in pudding history. A real black mark, not a fly in a pudding cup. A moment of silence for the hundreds of innocent folks who died during the great Pudding Disaster Of 1999. We shall never forget and we shall hoist a cup of pudding on their behalf. Better yet, let's drip a spoonful of pudding on the floor for those not with us anymore www.theonion.com/article/pudding-factory-disaster-brings-slow-creamy-death--621
