He sure feels like it to me.. even when he's in a leadership role, he never truly seems to be in the spotlight. Of course, I'm not the best judge, since I haven't really enjoyed Green Lantern since friggin' Geoff Johns brought Hal back and did the rainbow nonsense. I've always meant to read the 1980s GL run where John was the main character. It was the run that was on shelves when I was a kid and, while the second comic I ever bought was from that run, I lost it years ago and was too young as a 5 year old to understand it. This was the second comic book I ever bought: I really liked that run, and his subsequent role in the team book Green Lantern Corps after the Crisis . Sadly, I think later writers kind of forgot who he was and couldn't quite work out what to do with him.

My first exposure to John: I was too young to perhaps recognize his social significance, but I've always liked John. His focus and style was as unique as Hal's and Kyle's was, which is useful when all of them basically have the exact same power.

This is so cool of a picture with the Original Justice League Members with John Stewart replacing Hal Jordan. I just wanted to share this with all of you here.

Big fan of John. I'm holding out hope that he's the Green Lantern used in the Justice League movie.

More than twenty years on, I still don't know quite what to make of Mosaic. Brave experiment, or self indulgent twaddle? All I know is, I never forgave them for killing Ch'p.
