I was initially looking for a comic cover depicting a historical battle such as, say, the Battle of the Bulge. Couldn't find one that I really liked so I'll post this this Buscema beauty instead.

Americans vs. Commies, now there's an epic battle. And here Russ Heath sings along with the ballad of the flamethrower.

This is such a great cover. This is the first time I remember a first issue continuing the numbering of a series that existed in another comic company.

This is such a great cover. This is the first time I remember a first issue continuing the numbering of a series that existed in another comic company. It was the second time the series had changed company and kept the numbering. It started at Dell, switched to Gold Key, kept the numbering, then switched again to DC and kept the numbering. A couple of series had switched from King Comics to Gold Key and kept the numbering as well-Flash Gordon and Phantom if I recall. Blackhawk kept the numbering when it went from Quality to DC too, it wasn't that uncommon. -M

So many good choices, but ultimately I have to go with Price Hal and the Kubert Enemy Ace cover.
