I have an unwritten rule that I go by, I don't post a cover of the same character or book once it's been entered in the contest. Having said that- I had the perfect Neil the Horse cover. Now It's off the table.  |

Now It's off the table. Sorry about that, dude. I actually hadn't thought of Neil the Horse until I was making my final choice. While I was reviewing my picks, our cat Sabrina climbed into my lap. So of course I had to explain to her why I didn't have any covers with cats riding horses. And that reminded me of Soapy and Neil. Once I'd remembered the series, I had to go with it. |

Now It's off the table. My own rule is not quite so hard and fast, but I do try to avoid posting a cover that I regard as being too similar to one already posted. My first thought of seeing this week's theme was to post something from Dell's Silver book - which had some glorious painted covers - but mecha beat me to that. Posting two Silver covers is just likely to split the vote. Still, any week where I can posy a Rex The Wonder Dog cover is a good week in my book. |
