And somewhere, in an editorial office, someone is reading this thread and thinking
"Multiple variant covers... yeah, that's the ticket!!!"
Coming soon to a comic-shop near you (in very limited and highly collectible numbers).

Yeah, there's an infamous comic over there on the CGC forums which is an copy of ASM #361 I think - first Carnage - that has 8 covers. I've got a couple double covers somewhere, I'll see what I can dig up in terms of photos. As promised, here's a link to that thread on the CGC forums. It's up to page 213 now. Start there and work your way back to see a ton of examples. And as Crimebuster said, somewhere in the thread is that ASM 361 with 8 covers. Man, it's an eye opening experience! ... And, again welcome to CCF!

Thanks for the welcome. I wasn't sure how a link to another message board would be received but I'm glad you guys seem to be easy going around here. I have zero affiliation with that other board other than I've posted there a few times, but just like this forum, there are lots of dudes that know a whole lot about funny books there.

Only ever seen or owned one personally (a spiderman issue with hydro man on the cover). I dug the novelty and held onto it for that simple reason but it's somehow seemed to have disappeared from my collection

My copy of Boy Comics #82, from October, 1952: I particularly enjoy the added meaning it gives to the cover caption: "If you think this is funny, just read inside..."

I've had a couple of doubles over the years.
The first one that comes to mind are some magazine-sized DC reprints from around 1980 published in Britain.

I had a couple double covers in my original collection. I don't think it would matter much value wise unless it was some iconic comic, then it might trump it's actual condition. I remember seeing a double cover Flash #123 as the Chicago comic con back in the 80s.
