What a tough choice but if I can only pick one, it's Kamandi. Also appreciate the heads up on some of Jack's more obscure stuff...

Just be aware, DC did hardcover reprint editions of both Spirit World and In the Days of the Mob in recent years, each included additional Kirby material in he collection (such as the material from Amazing WOrld of DC that Rob Allen mentioned).
Here are the solicitation write ups for each of the hc (taken from the Lonestar listings)
Spirit World hc 2011 $39.99
In the Days of the Mob 2013 DC $39.99

I went with Kamdi, but 2001 is always a book I've wanted to try. One good thing about Kirby's 2001 is that the back issues aren't usually too expensive or hard to find.

Don't look now but they are going for about $15 a pop in VF+ now, with #9 (1rst Machine Man) running $50+ in places and the Treasury more than that, so no, not cheap any more in high grade. -M

I'm rather embarrassed to say that I won't be able to vote because I haven't read any of these books. I guess I'm not that big of a Jack Kirby fan.

I find 39.99 to be pricy for a reprint, but that's just my frugal ways I guess.

I'm a pretty big Kirby fan but I don't think he created anything very good after he left Marvel the second time. Captain Victory, Silver Star and the Kirbyverse stuff were subpar and it felt like he had run out of ideas. But ,of course, we have to grade on a curve. He created so many awesome things that he can be excused the last part of his career.

In the two years that I have been here - this poll is got to be the most widespread and diverse polling of everyone here liking one Kirby work from the other. There is really no clear cut winner although some members say it Kamandi who has 6 votes. 3 Jack Kirby works got 3 or more votes, and six of his titles got 1 vote or more.
This shows great diversity and having said that and like Icctrombone says that he created many awesome things that he can be excused the last part of his career.
Well said, Icctrombone

They're not just reprints though - they contain extra material that was going to be in the second issues as well, so it's a hardcover reprint of the originals plus extra stories, and other stuff I guess.

They seem to be much lower, apart from #8, the 1st Machine Man appearance.

2001 the series, only the first issue is really an adaptation of the movie, right? If you want the full story it's revised in the 2001 graphic novel also published by Marvel IIRC.

No, the first issue is pure Kirby (aside from The Monolith and he various Star Children it creates, the only elements from the movie appearing in the ongoing series). Cei-U! I summon the sequels!

But what I meant was, wasn't the first issue the only one that had anything to do with the movie?
