You know that old saying about the pen and the sword? I don't think you're supposed to take it literally . . .

All of you are killing me ... it's getting harder and harder for me to vote! I was thinking the same thing. Apparently, this is a good topic.

the4thpip. It's hard to think of a bigger mismatch of opponents. (Little Boy Blue vs Darksied, perhaps? I know I'd pay to read that.)

mrp, because there's nothing more terrifying than a giant Dum Dum Dugan! (particularly since we now know poor Godzilla was actually up against a giant robot in a bowler hat)

Rob Allen
No contest for me this week. As a relatively under-powered hero, Daredevil was in many situations of this kind, but this was probably the first and best cover of them all.

Rob Allen. The one cover I knew we'd see this week, and a true classic.

mrp captured the theme best to my liking, and I always enjoy a cool Trimpe cover!

BaB
Many worthy entrants, including phil and hondo, but BaB managed to find a cover with the child vs. giant aspect.
Now that we're voting, I have to mention two covers I thought of using right away, but which I figured would already be posted by the time I had the chance to post.
Of course, no one did, and once again I out-thought myself (admittedly not hard to do).
I'll post them later, but if you're curious, it's Captain America 110 and Thor 155.

Have to agree with Prince Hal and say BaB, with that giant monster vs innocent civilians including children scenario beautifully depicted by Steve Ditko.
Shout outs to both Rob Allen and MW Gallaher
