I don't so much anymore since I my weekly group kinda disintergrated, but I really like Euro board games and play them when possible . I think Ticket to Ride is my favorite (though that's not actually from Europe and even now has some Mass Market appeal). I find alot of the better ones actually play better as computer apps though. Back in the day I used to play alot of Acquire and Chess I had my CCG period in college, but I mostly got out of it.

I still enjoy TCGs, but I got burned pretty hard by Yu-Gi-Oh! and mostly just stick to Magic: The Gathering clones like the Pokemon TCG, Card Wars, and Hearthstone

My relationship with RPG's has always been a weird one. I've been interested in them since around 1988. The first one I bought and got into was the old Marvel Super-Heroes rpg from TSR. I learned the game, love reading all the Gamers Handbooks, but none of my childhood friends had any interest in rpg's. I got into D&D in 2000 when 3rd edition came out. I bought a lot of the books, loved reading about the lore, but I've never played the game. Same with 5th edition. I have the Players Handbook but as of yet haven't been able to find a game online. I'd love to play someday. (I'm a fan of the show Critical Role)

I've tried to join games on Roll20, but it's hard to get into a game, and find one to your tastes.

I went to a non-gaming related party the other night and ended up finding new people to play tabletop games with.

I think what the universe is trying to tell me is that I'm meant to RUN a table-top RPG and not play in one...at least at first. If you know anything about trying to find an online game, it's that it's much easier to find players than it is to find a DM.
