I'm cooking scrambled eggs and I got to wondering just how good a source of protein they are. So I go to google and type ... Are eggs good for ...
and Google finishes with
...for dogs
...for cats
...for you
Eggs are good for dogs as long as they are cooked. Raw eggs cause a deficiency in biotin.
I didn't check cats. I should be cooking.

Sometimes my computer is so good at tailored ads it scares me. It has to be a combination of coincidence and my computer use giving them enough info to make an educated guess on what I want next and not just spam me with more options to buy what I just bought or looked at. But I can be at an actual store looking at something and later when I log onto Facebook it's in my feed as a sponsored post. I don't do facebook, and consciously try to leave a small internet footprint, but yet, google adsense is pretty scary. I definitely get mycomicshop ads for days every time I go to the site... same with Amazon. I have to use the computer at work if I want to buy anything for my wife or my kids, since they'll be an ad for them. All car ads today though... totally barking up the wrong tree. |

Charging more is fine, if it's a chase variant. But the logic of "I had to order 50 of the regular comic for it so I'm charging 50X cover price" doesn't fly with me. Well, they are very likely to have to sell a lot of the regular cover books for less than they paid for in the 50 cent boxes etc. Or they could be smart and use them for marketing... give one to all the regulars for free, say(or really cheap)...and maybe get a couple more on the pull list next month, and make happy customers. |

We did a cheat day on Friday and also got pizza... I had one with feta cheese, salami, bell pepper, raw tomato wedges and fresh basil leaves.
