Viewmaster to make a comeback in 2015, but it's not quite the same.... Viewmaster returns as Google/Mattel team upI loved my Viewmaster as a kid, but in its infancy and dotage it was viewed only as an educational tool, which seems to be how they are slanting the comeback. In it's heyday, it was full fledged entertainment, especially for this fan of comics and cartoons. -M

Tonight I dreamed I was a janitor at an American college who was writing novels and short stories on the side, and my wife (huh?) was secretly having the published under a different name and they were all huge bestsellers and she did not tell me and pocketed the money instead. Sounds like a movie of the week.

I have this Viewmaster reel, never even got to look at it. Until now I thought it was all Mark Ryden stuff. I think I'll have to get a light and a magnifying glass and take a look.

I hope the old disks are compatible with the new system. It seems to be the scammy practice to release Video game systems that make a collection obsolete. I guess every music system has done the same from Records to Cd's.

I tried eating at Zaxbys yesterday for the first time per a friend's recommendation. Let's just say that me and Mrs. Toilet had a wonderful date for Valentines Day.

Haven't eaten at a Zaxby's in years, though offhand the only complaints I think I've heard around here are that the portions have declined precipitously in size.

The portions were fine for me, though I have really small appetite so you should take that with a grain of salt.

I just looked up Timmy Chan's on Facebook and what the hell? Chicken lettuce wraps? Wedge salads? Pinapple marmalade? Actual plates? If I can't still get 6 wings, a pound of shrimp fried rice and a biscuit for $7 in a to-go container I may riot.
Frenchy's is like a better Popeye's, or, at least it was. If Timmy Chan's is any indication, they're probably serving dick confit now.

Ok, nevermind. Google tells me OG Timmy Chan (not Chan's) is still a thing. Can't imagine why you would call your "nice" restaurant that in Houston.

I think I'm going to Big Sur this weekend for three days. Planning a trip with no solid experience.
