Today has been hard depression wise :/ I'm so sorry. Any trigger, or more free floating? It got worse later on in the day I'm not sure why Depression is like that sometimes you can be feeling fine and then it hits you and you feel really bad at that time :/ |

It hit the Moore OK school really bad. The news footage would have breaked the iciest heart. They rebuilt it with enough underground shelters to house all I the school. But for the track record of tornadoes to hit Moore since May 1999 there's a wonder why federal government funding didn't finance this then since that is apparently why the state couldn't do it themselves. Tornadoes in May is as sure as Memorial Day.

I'm just about at the end of my rope. Another break-in today at my house, just a few hours after getting my idiot heart ripped out. Don't feel like going into details; maybe later I'll paste from my FB account.
Last time I was at this low ebb, back in 12/04, I wound up in a hospital having my stomach pumped from a suicide attempt. That's ... not an impossible scenario right now, I regret to report. It really isn't.

It really isn't. Im not sure what to say Dan. I don't have any experience with suicide at all in my life. Or with anyone I've known. Except for maybe my own slow going routine with drinking. I don't want to die but the health risk I bring on myself don't slow it down. I'm not lying Dan you really are one of my favorite posters and I miss your absence a lot here. If you want a listening ear PM and I'll give you a number to call. I mean it seriously. I'm always willing to listen. |

We're all going that route eventually. You only get so much time here, and it sucks that you've suffered for so much of it, but there are good times ahead too, moments that you'll want to stick around for, even when they're fleeting. No one has great months or great years; we get great moments peppered across days, weeks, and months of nothing special or, worse, serious depression. But those moments are the ones that make it all worthwhile. You still have many of them yet ahead of you. Please think of those that care about you too. We need you in our lives and would be distraught at your not being here anymore. Please don't do that to us. Whatever we can do to help, anything, just keep talking. Please. We're listening. |

Dan, I've posted on your facebook wall and also contacted a few of your fb friends who seem to live near you to check on you tonight. Please don't see this as a betrayal. I am genuinely worried for you and, were I not living most of a continent away, I'd be there tonight myself, cappuccinos and comics in hand.
