Just spoke to a friend of Dan's who has been speaking on the phone with him. She believes he's going to be alright.

Seriously, speaking as someone who attempted suicide many years ago during my own mental health crisis, I promise you things can and will get better. Hang tough, brother, and for God's sake, if you feel yourself slipping, reach out to those who care about you and get help.

Dan earlier today you posted we were like family and if we were going through a rough time someone should contact you so you can be there. That works both ways bub, you're family to us and the fact you are willing to be there for others is just one of the many things that makes you worth a damn despite what you think or what you are going through/feeling. If Kurt can't his ass down south to kick yours, I will. Seriously dude, you are one of the finest individuals I've been graced to interact with on this crazy world wide web. You may not think so, but the world would be a poorer world without you in it, and my world would be oh so much poorer. And I am not adopting your damn cats, I've got too many of my own! Stay strong brother. Borrow our strength if you need it, but stay strong.

Yeah, I know. It's just that I am SO TIRED of getting back up on my feet again & again & again & again. And for what? Another break-in, basically. And the message that I'm too old for a girl I think the world of.
