I get a shipment about once every three month, and I only consistently read one monthly. My shipments are usually 8-12 comics. Not only can I not keep up with a weekly comic, I wouldn't want to. I think a month is too short a time frame for anything good to be put out. A week? No way. That used to be my stance but I've been proved wrong by both Eternal and Futures End as both books are really good.

Having been brought up on 2000AD and the Beano/Dandy, weekly comics just seem normal. Monthly publishing has always been the weird one for me, still feels odd even after nearly 20 years of buying US mags. Oi, are you a Brit? Grew up with Beano too, here's my childhood sweetheart. Thing is, UK weeklies were spare change...a US comic is $2.99-$3.99...buying a US series that comes out weekly needs a bit more change. (Not withstanding I get books I choose at cost price, not cover, unless extras are factored in....)

I have no interest in anything modern Marvel and DC are putting out anyway.

Or a weekly anthology with 4 * 5 page stories rather than 4 * 20 page monthlies.

I was keeping up with Batman '66 just fine and then DC cut it back to twice a month.

What's your pattern like then? Erratic. I try to keep comics (old and new) under 20 dollars a month, unless I find an awesome sale. If I don't like an issue, I'll drop the series and check it out in a month if I remember. I didn't get Nightcrawler #5 this week, so I could get X-Force. If one of those isn't any good this week, next month I might try Nightcrawler #5 or another series I dropped awhile ago. Sometimes, I have to wait a bit to get a series because there's too many issues I want in a month. Batman Eternal and Future's End looked good, but so did everything else. I could go back to them, but I'm about seven issues behind by now. I also miss the date a lot. I fell behind on East of West when I meant to read it steadily. Sometimes I wait to see if comixology will lower the price.

But in more instances than not, I never mind falling behind. I only recently began to read the current series of Harley Quinn and picked up 0-7 (8 issues) in one fell swoop. Same for the current Black Widow run...picked up six issues at the same time as Harley. Next month I plan to update my Superman Unchained run, only have the first 6 so far.

Even though Batman Eternal looks pretty good, I'm passing on it.
I've enjoyed the weeklies DC has put out under Didio's reign, as well as the Triangle Era and Bat books of the 90's.
Following and enjoying Fight for the Multiverse and Future's End as well. Will definitely be getting the Earth 2 weekly as well.

I bought every issue of Grant Morrison's Seven Soldiers, but that was seven separate series alternating followed by a seven month delay rather than an actual weekly.
In general I have trouble keeping up with monthly comics - Ah for the good ol' days when the Ultimates # 6 would come out in June and the next issue would come out in January. Weeklies are right out.

I have ALWAYS wanted to try a weekly comic, but before now there was nothing put out that I was interested in enough to make the investment. However, in recent days things have changed. I tried out the INJUSTICE series on a whim and was immediately addicted. I have NO PROBLEM at all keeping up and it gives me something to look forward to each week. I enjoyed the first two "YEARS", but don't plan to purchase year three (not interested in the magic-stuff). I am currently collecting Arrow 2.5 (a bi-weekly), Batman '66 Meets the Green Hornet (also a bi-weekly), and Earth-2: World's End. Honestly, they can't come fast enough for me. I am truly enjoying them!
WHEN are they going to put out a Green Lantern/Green Arrow weekly!!?!!
