Usagi #160 'Death by Fugu I nice, done-in-one mystery featuring Inspector Ishida... nothing Earth-shattering, just you typical good, solid Usagi book, which tells and shows us how to prepare Pufferfish while telling a good story. Art: 4/5 Plot: 4/5

Doctor Aphra #2 I'm not sure this series (not sure if it's taking the miniseries slot or if it's the replacement for the Vader series) is really working for me. I love the character, and the homicidal droids are fun, but it's getting old, and frankly I just don't care about her dad or her Doctoral degree. I'll see if there's a 2nd storyline, but so far it's just not working. The art seems a little wonky to me, too, though to be honest I can't quite put my finger on why. Plot: 2/5 Art: 2/5

Have to agree, I like Aphra, but the original series draw was Aphra having to do anything to avoid disappointing Vader. Without the looming thread of Vader at all points, I'm not sure this series will work.

Invincible Iron Man #2 Training time! AI Tony throws a bunch of old armor at Riri.. she gets beat on for a while, then runs away... but aha! it was a trick, and she hacks them all to fall out of the sky. I hate Bendis. Either that was what Tony was trying to get her to do, and made it easy, or they're trying to tell us Riri is way smarter than both Tony Stark and every villain he's ever fought. Oh, and yeah, more flashbacks about Riri's childhood..it flashes back before the ending of the previous flash back, then confirms her dad and her friend did indeed die, which was obvious last time... total filler. Also, it's very hard to read two Bendis comics in a row... I don't recommend it. Some decent art, at least. I hope it's over soon... I'm SO done with Superheroes needing a co pilot to argue with. IT was unique and kinda fun when Firestorm did it in the 80s... enough already. Story 1/5 Art 4/5
