Now I loved the majority of these when they first came out, but on rereading them a couple of years ago they mostly disappoint now...Byrnes FF, Laytons Iron Man, Perez on Titans, Busieks Avengers Forever, and Walts Thor are ALL books I want to love, but just cant get into now. Just starting Mage, and always enjoyed the little Grendel I could find, but have read next to no Usagi (and saw little to get excited about). As for the pakehafulla all-time Top 5 rereadem an weep listorama Legion of Super-Heroes by Levitz and Giffen/Lightle/LaRocque (so like 285 - 319ish, and 1 - 60 of the Baxter). Preacher Daredevil: The Miller Years Captain America: Winter Soldier(Bru's whole dang sagarama folks) Warlock by Starlin This of course leaves no room for Moore's Swamp-Thing or The Ultimates or Marvel Zombies or Walking Dead or Jon Sable or massive amounts of 2000AD or Fables(now that Ive read it once ) or Kingdom Come or Avengers 160 - 200 or ...

Some rereads that have always been enjoyable:
Justice League of America 144 (Engelhart's "real origin")
New Frontier by the late Darwyn Cooke
Adventure 340-341 (Computo); 352-353 (The Fatal Five and the Legion vs. the Sun-Eater) and 369-370 (Mordru and Smallville)
Detective 471-476 (Engelhart, Rogers and Austin rescue The Batman)
The solo Robin series in Star-Spangled Comics (So much fun; like 40s B movies on a comics page!)
Blackhawk 242 and 243 (In two issues Giordano, Boyette, Haney and Wolfman wash the foul taste of years of misguided Blackhawk issues from our mouths)
Tomahawk (Any issues, any time! So it's an acquired taste.. so what?)
Thor 154-157 (The original Mangog Saga... only complaint: it should have been even longer!)
Fantasy Masterpieces/ Marvel Superheroes 3-20 (No better, no more sheer fun collection of new and reprinted material)
Mlle. Marie (Wis I had more of these; they're formulaic, yes, but done so well)
Enemy Ace (Any three or four issues at a time, no more.)
Bat Lash 1-7 (Excellence)
Avengers 50-68 (Some fine stuff there)
Doom Patrol (The glory days -- 115-122 -- in particular)

Not a real critical appraisal of these runs, but the acknowledgement that I re-read them often and keep enjoying them greatly :
Conan the barbarian #1-24 (Marvel).
Legion of super-heroes #1-38 vol. 4 (DC) ...(I think it's volume 4... anyway, the Giffen-Bierbaum era).
Legion of super-heroes vol.4 #122-125 / Legionnaires #79-81 / Legion Lost #1-12... The DnA storyline that started with Legion of the damned.
Master of Kung Fu #29-50. One of my favourite runs of anything, ever. (Better in black and white, by the way).

3. Ann Nocenti's Daredevil
A truly underappreciated gem! I especially liked the Big Event crossovers during Ann Nocenti's run. She managed to turn turkeys like "Fall of the Mutants", "Inferno" and "Acts of vengeance" into masterpieces... at least in Daredevil. Her Ultron was particularly brilliant and completely offbeat! Number nine... Number nine... Number nine... Number nine...
