Jonathan Lowell Spencer Storm (whom his sister once called "Jonathan J. Storm" for some reason). "J" has always seemed to be the go-to middle initial for cartoon characters: Rocket J. Squirrel, Bullwinkle J. Moose, Donald J. Trump, Homer J. Simpson...

Bill Finger apparently named Bruce Wayne after Robert the Bruce and "Mad" Anthony Wayne and Alan Brennert's Holy Terror (done admittedly under the Elseworlds imprint) gave his middle name as Anthony, so I figure Anthony should be Bruce Wayne's middle name.
Also; I remember Tim Drake being accidentally referred to as Jeff during his introductory storyline in a single panel. When a letter writer commented upon this, whoever answered those things (assistant editor?) joked that 'Jeff' was his middle name. I'm kind of of the opinion that since he probably does have a middle name and that middle name has never been given (that I know of) it might as well be 'Jeff' since it's as good a name as any plus, it works as an in-joke of sorts.
Has Bruce David Banner been mentioned yet?
What about J Jonah Hex?

Actually Jonah Hex's full name is Jonah Woodson Hex.
And while I'm talking about DC western heroes, it's Bartholomew "Bat" Aloysius Lash.

The only I just can readily recall is Charles Francis Xavier (which I can recall because Franciscus Xavier).
Well, that one and Nathan Christopher Summers (which I can recall, because I know which two characters he's named after).

Timothy Jackson sounds better than Timothy Jeffrey and how did I mistake 'David' for 'Robert'? I guess Stan Lee was on to something with alliterative names. Good catch!

And David was Banner's first name in the series, of course. I thought it had been adopted for the comics as well at some point or am I mistaken?
I suppose Lee's trick with alliteration didn't work as well as he had hoped - hence, not only Bruce Bob/Robert Banner, but Peter Palmer Parker as well.

Jonathan Lowell Spencer Storm (whom his sister once called "Jonathan J. Storm" for some reason). Similarly, the Beast is called Henry Phillip McCoy but Jean once referred to him as Henry C. McCoy when she was annoyed with him. JLS Storm sounds pretty awesome, though. Warren Kenneth Worthington III Katherine Anne Pryde Rachel Anne Summers makes me think of Buffy Anne Summers. (but what is 'Buffy' short for? Beverly? Barbara?) Not sure if we can count patronymics, but Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin and Illyana Nikolaevna Rasputin(a)? Cable's full name was at one point Nathan Christopher Charles Summers. EDIT: okay, so 'Buffy' is short for Elizabeth? Huh.

Franklin Benjamin Richards Back in the Silver Age, in the lettercols a reader suggested that the Richardses' new, as-yet-unnamed baby be named "Franklin", after Sue and Johnny's late father Dr. Franklin Storm; and someone also suggested "Benjamin Franklin", after Sue and Reed's friend and teammate Ben Grimm as well recalling well, you know who The baby was officially named on panel in FF #94.
