Morrigan and Mark Pajarillo, inks by Norm Rapmund. Supreme lies beaten by his enemies in his Mirror Penitentiary. His enemies realize Judy is Dax. Supreme asks what happened to Judy. Dax tells his story: At 15 he stole the Supremium meteor from Prof Erwin Wells. He used it to try & kill Kid Supreme & failed. He developed lymphatic cancer from his exposure to Supremium. He digitized his mind onto miniature computers & put them into a book. He mailed the book to Judy Jordan & then Dax died. Judy opened the book & breathed in the dust that released. It erased her mind & installed Dax's mind. He then built Hilda & waited for Supreme to return from space. Dax turns off the cloud cover that hides the Citadel & threatens to destroy North America unless they turn power over to him. Suprema & Radar fly up to the Citadel & get attacked by Hilda. Glory & Die Hard also fly to the Citadel & get attacked by Magno (think Amazo) who has all the powers of the Allied Supermen. Glory & Die Hard do not know that Dax has transferred his mind from Judy's body into Magno. Meanwhile Suprema broadcasts over the TV news a plea for help. Prof Night & Twilight arrive to help Suprema & Radar fight Hilda. Meanwhile the League of Infinity has seen Suprema's TV broadcast 500 yrs in the future & come back in time to help stop Magno/Dax. They rescue Supreme from the Mirror Dimension. The heroes destroy Hilda. Magno/Dax retreats & grabs the Supremium meteor to merge with it & become even more powerful. He glows & falls backward thru time. Zayla opens a Time Window & they see Magno Dax become the Supremium Man. He lands in Littlehaven in 1958 exposing Sally to his radiation giving her Supreme powers. Then he continues to fall back thru time to Littlehaven in 1925. As he falls thru the atmosphere he becomes a meteor. 5 yr old Ethan & his dog Radar come across this meteor & get exposed to its radiation & receive Supreme powers. Ironically Dax is responsible for the creation of his greatest enemies: Supreme, Suprema & Radar. As they clean up the damage in the Citadel they find Judy's alive but comatose body. Supreme vows to find a way to restore her mind. The League go to leave & Zayla tells Supreme she will see him soon at the Youngblood murder trial (see Youngblood #2 review above). The last page shows Supreme addressing Omegapolis from the Citadel along with Suprema, Radar, Glory, Die Hard, Prof Night & Twilight. He reassures the city that they will protect them.

Pretty nice conclusion to an epic tale that told the history of Superman thru the Silver Age. It was a homage to the various Superman Family titles that were published in the 50's & 60's. It was entertaining & showed some of those concepts could still be used. In fact Moore used them to set up a new Awesome Universe. He wrote a mini series called Judgment Day to tie all this together. He wrote another 10 issues of Supreme. Launched a new Youngblood series (which only had 3 issues see print). Started a new Glory series with Brandon Peterson (only one issue saw print). Then Awesome went bankrupt & Moore went to Wildstorm & continued some of his ideas in his America's Best Comics line.

![](http://d1466nnw0ex81e.cloudfront.net/n_iv/120/901517.jpg) Script by Alan Moore, art by Steve Skroce, Dietrich Smith, Marat Mychaels & Lary Stucker. Supposed to be published as Youngblood #3 before the title was canceled. Twilight & Shaft are in the mansion talking about Twilight missing the 80's & early 90's when she was in suspended animation (see Supreme #47-49). The Jackette's (Jack-A-Dandy's mob) attack. Johnny Panic helps drive them away. Youngblood discovers they accessed the Night Files that Prof Night has allowed them to have. They find they accessed a case in 1965 of the Allies fighting the Allies of Evil. They find that Glory's enemy Dr Clock has hidden millions somewhere in one of the hideouts. They realize all of the Allies of Evil are either dead or in prison. Twilight leaves to question Jack in Star City. Shaft & Big Brother search the deceased Killer Crab's hideout. Suprema checks out Arctura's hideout in deep space. Johnny Panic, Doc Rocket & Twilight search Jack's hideout. Twilight & Johnny ask Ethan Crane about Dax. He tells them Dax's secrets died with him. The entire Youngblood team reunite at Dr Clock's hideout. There they find it was a trap for the Allies. They get sent back in time to a random location in the past. Jack had placed a tracer on Twilight when she questioned him. He notes to the Lounge Lizard that it's signal has vanished.

This published the completed Youngblood #3. As you can see Moore continues to use the concepts he started in Supreme & carried them over in this new Youngblood. It's a shame it ended early. It was a fun series & light hearted. I was enjoying Moore's Awesome Universe. I even tried Loeb & McGuiness' Fighting American.
