Do you use the Pixelate -> color half-tone filter approach to get colours that look like ben day dots?

Do you use the Pixelate -> color half-tone filter approach to get colours that look like ben day dots? i scan old comics, and clone portions to look like dot and texture pages, color them on flat color and replace the color with the distressed old colors. |

This costume was a tough one to do. The designs Kirby did I couldn't find a really consistent one so I sorta blended a few together. I tried to stay close to the first appearance.  |
