That's the one where a teenager gets slimed by a radioactive slug, right? He was mentioned in the "one letter off" thread, which I recommend. That thread might be due for a revival. You should revive it!!!

An old comic series I've been binge reading all day earlier today
Conan the Adventurer 1994 or 1995 Marvel. I'm at issue 8 right now so I have half of the series to finish later tonight

That one any good? I remember the covers been painfully Image-y.

The cover art for the issues are good. Dunno what makes you think they're Image Comicsish. The issues stories of Conan the Adventurer are pretty good. There's two giant monsters one is a clay monster while the other giant monster is a solid gold bronze monster.

Yes the issues of Conan the Adventurer are good. So don't judge the series by the covers for cripes sake.

Dude, they're comics, of COURSE one judges it by the cover, that's the whole point of the cover after all, to entice you to buy it! Edit: actually, that was isn't as bad as the one I was thinking of, which was just called 'Conan' from just after that one... 'Conan the Adventurer' is written by Roy Thomas, so it has to be decent at least This is one series I was thinking of, which includes a Hyborean age Iron Man as a bad guy.. this is the worse of the Image-y covers (though most of them are pretty bad)

Well wildfire that Conan you read you chose poorly.
Conan the Adventurer 1994-1995 is way better with a better story. Plus two giant monsters made out of clay/mud and solid gold

I recently bought four TPBs that together reprint Captain America #290-350, and I already had the floppies of #286-289. That gave me the idea of binge reading the whole bunch (or until I get tired of it).

2 new Omnibus received to begin my reading voyage. Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #2 full of 70's coolness and the Complete Silver Age Doom Patrol grooviness. These monsters will either be consumed quickly as I become lost in their splendor or digested slowly as their density weighs upon me for crushing my spinal column because they be some big ol' hefty boys of Omni's. But oh so delightfully tasty

Still making my way through Bronze Age Avengers. I'm at issue #133 and hope to get to #300 by the end of the summer.
Also still planning on finally reading Frank Miller's Daredevil, as well as Ostrander and Truman's Grimjack.

Also still planning on finally reading Frank Miller's Daredevil, as well as Ostrander and Truman's Grimjack. I really want to re-read Grimjack. Actually I really want to re-read all of my First Comics. In theory I'd like to do a review thread of them. But I know that ain't gonna happen.
