I always thought Plastic Man would "fit" well into the Fawcett Universe. EX-cellent idea!
This was the only time I can remember a Capt Marvel/Plastic Man team up.

This could be a really, really long list....
Things I'm sure will come around again soon: Legion Tony Stark
I'd love to see Marvel have a coherent future vision, like 2099 was, or even 'MC-2'... sadly, they've pretty much destroyed both at this point.
I really would love to see any of CrossGen's properties come back, especially Meridian or any of the Pastiche-type titles (Ruse, Brath, etc)
Some of the more obscure things I'd love to see more of: Bloody Mary (Ennis' Helix title.. had 2 minis) Amelia Cole (only recently ended, so maybe) Gate Crashers (waid, I think... from Black Bull) 2nded on Leave it to Chance Arrowsmith (Busiek steampunk-ish series that never really got off the ground)

I'd love to see Marvel have a coherent future vision, like 2099 was, or even 'MC-2'... sadly, they've pretty much destroyed both at this point. The only person that really seems to still care about 2099 at this point is David. The only company that I've ever seen do a "glimpse into the future" correctly is Valiant with Rai, Bloodshot's "Analog Man" story-arc, Ninjak's "Fist & Steel" story-arc, and their Book Of Death event (Timewalker too, but I have absolutely no plans of ever reading it) But to do that, I think that you'd need to have a very well thought out "universe bible" and Marvel probably threw theirs out sometime during the 90's/00's One thing from Marvel's recent Secret Wars event that I really liked was 1872. It was really interesting to see the Marvel crew in an old wild west setting with Cap as the Sheriff. Such a shame that they had to ruin it with Red Wolf and the Avengers Standoff event

May 'Day' Parker Slott has used her recently, she appeared in the latest Spider-Universe event and her new circumstances set up by Slott are very interesting. I think she appeared in one of the Secret Wars Spider-related tie-in minis but I don't know if she's appeared since. Which is sad, the DeFalco-Frenz run was old-school fun.

Dreadstar
Though I read some of the Peter David issues after Starlin left and it totally paled in comparison.
That initial 30 issue arc was fantastic

Totally agree with mrp about Section Zero. So much potential.
I would also love to see The New Wave, The Futurians, Red Star (Image) and, of course, Reid Fleming:World's Toughest Milkman.

Something may be brewing with Section Zero, Karl Kesel has been promoting it a bit on his facebook (Mark Waid shared it so I saw it a few weeks back) and there is a kickstarter in the works for it I believe. -M

Scarlet Thunder, from Dan Vado and Slave Labor Graphics. It was a really good little 1940s superhero comic, that was just getting going when the plug was pulled. SLG didn't have the resources to really get the word out and it was buried under a tone of DC and Marvel stuff. Just a nifty little comic about two super speedsters, in WW2. The Mark had a man in an asylum, who appears to be nearly catatonic, from experimentation conducted by a fascist state. He is actually masquerading and launches secret attacks on the fascists, in a masked identity. Really cool premise that started well; but, kept changing creative teams and stalled out before it could really get going. Mark Verheiden's The American. Picture Captain America, if he was purely a propaganda project, constantly replaced by a new soldier, after the last one is killed. A journalist discovers the truth and ends up hunted down, with the new American as his savior. This got some mileage; but, had so much more life in it when Verheiden moved on. Jennifer Mays and Gabriel Web had a ton of life left in them.

Agreed absolutely on Chance Falconer, The Maze Agency and Roger Stern's Monster Hunters. I'd add Jeff Parker's 'Agents of Atlas'. Also, for all those 'Section Zero' fans... www.facebook.com/sectionzerocomic/

I agree with everybody that's mentioned Captain Marvel/Shazam. I would love to see another series by the Convergence: Shazam team. I'd also like to see the Question more often.

Even Peter David doesn't care about MY 2099... they pretty much destroyed it when they merged in the 'Future Imperfect' hulk with it... it's not really anything related to when it was being published. For some reason, Marvel thinks it's better off 'saving' the popular characters of these projects by tossing them in the regular Marvel U, instead of letting them stand alone.

No, it's moreso Bendis and Slott having free reign to ruin established characters to drive up sales like with Spencer's "Nazi Cap" debacle
