I think I am going to try to maintain a regular posting schedule for the podcast, namely every other Wednesday. So Episode 7 will be up on May 10, and episode 8 will be up on May 24, etc. We'll see if I can stick to it. I have the next three episodes recorded already and I kind of want to go faster just so I can listen to them myself  but I know there will also be delays like there was last month, so it's probably best to keep some in the can for when there's a slowdown. I'm also working on some audio things. I believe I was able to clean up some of the minor audio issues that occurred in Episode 6, so that Episode 7 will sound a little better. Similarly, there were some issues with The Captain's mic in Episodes 8 and 9 that I am working on. I think I have adjusted things to make it a little better in Episode 8, but I might have lowered the volume of my own voice in the process, so I'm still figuring that out. Hopefully by the time I get to editing Episode 9, I'll be able to get a better balance.  |

I'm in the process of scheduling the next few episodes with people who have expressed interest, so I thought I'd throw it open the community here: if there's anyone who wants to appear on the podcast, let me know!
I also have some specific topics I'm interested in discussing, so I thought I'd list a couple of them, in case there's someone who really wants to talk about these with me on the podcast:
Gunhawks and Combat Kelly and His Deadly Dozen - if anyone has read both of these series, I have a specific angle I want to discuss that i think will be interesting
Sandman Mystery Theatre - my favorite series of all time
Starman - the James Robinson version
Night Nurse, Shanna the She Devil, and The Cat - Marvel's ill fated attempt to create a line of feminist comics

I'd love to be on again sometime. We could talk Fourth World and Jimmy Olsen, if you like. I'm also planning on finally reading Sandman Mystery Theatre this summer.

I'm reading Sandman Mystery Theatre for the first time this year too. DC is rereleasing the series in editions collecting 3 TPBs apiece. Based on the first two books, it's great. I can't wait for the third one to be released next month. |

Wow, we have a podcast here! Of course, I can barely keep up with all the Fire & Water Network shows, so another show was the last thing I wanted, but I can't resist. Thank for creating this.
Only thru one episode, but is it just me or are the volume levels a little low? Even at max volume on my phone, I have trouble hearing everything while driving.

I haven't noticed this on my own listens. There are times when my own mic volume level is too low compared to my guest's, something I am working on correcting. I think this will be better by episode 9 and 10. But as far as overall volume, I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to hear it. Anyone else having an issue with the overall volume level? |

Just another update - the next two episodes are recorded, but it doesn't look like I'll have a chance to finish editing the next episode before I leave for vacation this weekend. Hopefully end of next week.
These next two episodes are just me yammering into the wind, so hopefully you'll still find some interest. I do have several awesome guests and topics lined up, I just haven't been able to finalize a schedule for any of them yet to do the interviews. Hopefully soon! You're going to really dig the upcoming lineup once I get them recorded.
