We're coming up on one year since the podcast arrived on Podbean, it's permanent home. So it's fitting that today, the podcast passed 1500 total official downloads!
I say official because there was a glitch that resulted in maybe 30 or so downloads from EPisode #16 not being tallied. On the other hand, sometimes people download it two or even three times in a row, so it sort of balances out, but anyway...
1500!

Love the podcast. I enjoy the mix of topics, from classis runs to more obscure stuff like the First Issue Specials. Recently had time to catch up on an episode I missed, the Green Arrow one and it prompted me to re-read The Longbow Hunters. I feel compelled to also try to track down more Grell issues after your analysis and praise for the run.

Soon, hopefully. I've been swamped with stuff selling my house. Assuming nothing goes wrong, we'll be closing next week, so I hope to have time to edit part 2 at the start of July - and finish preparing for the next guest, which I don't want to spoil until the episodes have been recorded.

Listening to the voice of our CCF members, I really want to meet them in person.
Perhaps someday we’ll have a parallel comicon of our own, as used to be the case at CBR. (How about in Bora Bora?)
Although I’ll be really taken aback if Confessor is not really a green rabbit and Prince Hal looks neither like Einstein nor Santa Claus.
Thanks a lot for all the effort you put into those podcasts, Scott. They’re a very worthwhile piece of comic-book scholarship, in a pretty cool format!

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
The sale of my house is finished, and went through without too many problems other than just mind-numbing exhaustion. I am just about caught up now, though, and am hoping to get the porcast back up and running in short order. I have one episode, of course, still to edit, and am in the process of studying up for the next recording session, so stay tuned!

The podcast just passed 2000 official lifetime downloads on Podbean!
I say official, because prior to using Podbean, I posted a couple episodes on Soundcloud, where they continue to get some listens. Also, Podbean totally bonked the stats for one episode, and their system was all screwed up for the whole first weekend of #16. So that episode supposedly only has 79 downloads, but I would guess the real number is around 100.
But anyway. 2000!
Thanks for all the support, and to everyone who has appeared on the podcast so far. I'm working on lining up the next few rounds, but I don't like to announce anything until after the episodes have actually been recorded, since stuff happens.
