Kirby came up with a lot of good ones. Metron's Mobius Chair: Mister Miracle's whatchamacallem's (was there a name for them?) as drawn by Marshall Rogers:

Best by a country mile would be the Batmobile -- this particular version... I also really like the look of the Spider-Mobile, although it's obviously a ridiculous idea... I liked the motorcycle that Captain America had in the Bronze Age too... But my least favourite superhero ride would probably be Wonder Woman's invisible jet. Aside from the fact that it's the least striking superhero vehicle visually, by dint of it being invisible, it's doubly lame for leaving Wonder Wonan herself visible. So, to everyone else, she's just rocketing through the sky in a sitting position, which looks really silly. Also, I thought that comic book Wonder Woman could fly or glide on air currents herself, right? So, why does she need a plane?

The New Gods use them for personal travel. They can reach speeds of 250 mph. Scott has modified his discs considerably. They are designed to retract into his boots when not in use. He added magnets to let him cling to a metal wall or ceiling and toe knives to let him cut ropes or nets while in flight.

Pretty much all of the designs of the Batmobile have been tops, but I've always been partial to the Batman Forever/Batman & Robin version While the Burton and the 90's Batman TAS are more iconic, the "Forever-Mobile" just reeks of H.R. Giger And yeah, I've always loved Cap on a motorcyle. The thought of him in a "Murrika-Mobile", though amusing, is too campy even for me to think about

Favorites: The Adam West Batmobile is the pinnacle but I've always been partial to this model: Love this bike model: X-men Blackbird

There are other problems as well: I forgot to pick a "worst" but I'd go along with WW's invisible plane, for the reasons already cited by Confessor. But after seeing that MAD parody (by Will Elder?), I now wish they'd done the change scene referred to, preferably drawn by Wally Wood.

I thought I had a vague memory that Stingray (Marvel underwater superhero) used to have a kind of flying submarine or something like that but couldn't find anything online to confirm. Does anyone else remember this? It's quite possible that I've imagined the whole thing, not having actually read any Stingray comics for many years.

Super-hero vehicle toys were always fun even if they were never reflective of comics... -M The story of Hulk getting his flying license is one of the great untold tales of the Marvel Universe. On the Daily Planet van.... ...is it supposed to look like a graffiti artist added those glasses? They look a little weird.

The invisible plane always struck me as ridiculous. What's the point of having an invisible vehicle if you're visible?? Reminds me of old British character the Steel Claw. He had an artificial steel right hand, and the power to turn invisible if his steel hand came into contact with electricity, meaning he had to electrocute himself every time he wanted to use his power. But his hand stayed visible, so whoever he was hiding from could still see a floating metal claw. A cool visual, but utterly pointless.

Makes about as much sense as Captain America being frozen in the arctic and worshiped as a god by the Eskimos

For if we anger him, he will surely...stand very still and do nothing in particular."
