Some of my favorite DC books were written by Bob Haney. I know his dialog was over-the-top & he totally ignored continuity. So I understand why some fans can't stand his writing.
For me I have fond memories of his Brave & Bold & World's Finest stories. I think my guilty pleasure may be his Super-Sons from WFC. My all time favorite Haney story was Batman/Sgt Rock in B&B # 124 which also had Haney & Aparo in the actual story.
Of course the Aparo art in B&B & Dick Dillin in WFC was a big draw (pun intended!).

Any favorites? Or are you being sarcastic? Not sarcastic at all. I love his Brave & Bold. Especially the team-ups that shouldn't have happened. Wildcat, Spectre, etc.

Cool. I know there is someone on here that strongly dislikes Haney's writing & I can't remember who it is....and that's OK. There are creators that everyone else raves about that I don't enjoy.

Yay indeed!
No barrier too tall, no boundary too dangerous, no convention too hallowed for the architect of the Haneyverse!

Definitely a YAY! for Bob Haney!
My favorite Haney story is "In the Coils of Copperhead!" from The Brave and the Bold #78. (He also wrote "The Revolt of the Super-Chicks" in #63, another unquestionable classic!)

A little bit of both for me. I don't mind the disregard for continuity so much, but some of his stuff, particularly in the Super-Sons, was cringe-worthy. In addition, his Lost Teen Titans Annual was just amazingly off the rails. So much so it inspired me to use the term "Haney" as a description of something that is just completely WTF. By those standards, that "Lost Annual" was the Haneyest.
On the other hand, I enjoyed a lot of his B&B stories and Teen Titans, despite the attempts at "groovy" slang.

You've mentioned your loathing for the Lost TT Annual before, but I don't recall finding anything untoward about it. It must contain a drawing of a banana.
I'll have to dig it out & reread it.

No bananas, that I recall. Just: [Crap. Spoil didn't work. What's the code again?] So, other than that, it's fine.

Yay! Nothing liking reading an Aparo-Haney Brave and the Bold. And continuity be damned!

I like Haney in small doses. He becomes a surfeit very quickly. My favourite story is probably B&B #124, which is completely fourth wall shattering.

I like that I can pick up a Bob Haney B&B on a Saturday and read it, enjoy it, and not have to fret about where it 'fits' in the mythos. I can accept that they are merely Bob Haney's mythos.
Now could I read 4 or 5 issues of B&B at once? I don't think so. But I do like reading a Haney B&B almost every Saturday.

Haney's cool. Love those old B&B's and the Super Sons and Aparo and Dillin works fine too.
