Me too! I was considering a few other covers, but since no one else had submitted this one, I thought why not? To this day I still remember when I first saw this at the candy store--the cover was so atypical for the X-Men comic back then, what with the coloring, the composition, plus the new logo. |

For me, the stylish women on these covers have always been a pull. It's her prize-winning boots that really draw my eye.  Agreed! Oh, wait, you said boots...Never mind. Hmm. I guess my little pun wasn't as obvious or as clever as I imagined. Not quitting my day job. |
