I have some suggestions when posting images on the cover contest threads. For me the very small images hurt the chances for me voting for that cover. Sometimes I just can't make it out enough to want to vote for it. When posting try to make the height at least 600-700 ppi (pixels per inch) If you are using Google search you can see the size by hovering over the image on the search page. You can also change the search under tools to show only medium or large images. Another good resource is coverbrowser.com; www.coverbrowser.com/ The images aren't large, but they are a decent size. Here is what I mean, this is Amazing Fantasy #15 at only 300ppi: And here it is from cover browser at 637 ppi:

And at a nice large 1000 ppi:

of course we can go a little over board when we get to 2000 ppi or larger: But at least we can clearly see the cover.

This may be just a personal pet peeve, but i love the contest because I get to see so many cool covers. It's disappointing when these tired old eyes can barely see the covers people post.
I submit this not to criticize, but in the fun spirit of the contest.

So you're suggesting that we competitors use PED*s to better our chances at winning?
Wonder what the commisioner's office will have to say.

When I think about size that matters, the cover contest never comes to mind.
Fortunately, I don't fret over this situation much

Personally, I prefer covers that are 600x800, like this one below ... as an example.

I totally agree kirby101, when the cover looks like a postage stamp, I just skip it.
