I have an idea, what if we all vote for the best cover of the year? There have been 52 covers and that could be the basis of the entries. Farrar, @bert, Rob Allen, chaykinstevens, badwolf, Slam_Bradley, tarkintino, driver1980, @mrp, kirby101, MDG, EdoBosnar, brianf, Prince Hal, Jesse, james, berkley, DubipR, codystarbuck, hondobrode, Crimebuster, chadwilliam, foxley. My apologies if I missed a name. Everyone that is a CCF member can vote. What do you all think ? |

If people are into it and it's fun, great, go for it. I suspect though, with 52 choices and less than 20-25 people regularly voting we are more likely to get 20 or so covers getting one vote and no consensus favorite.

With so many covers, I think we would have to do an elimination contest. All the ones that are voted for the first few rounds until we have maybe 10 covers to choose from.

Might work if they are grouped four months at a time, which is probably less than the number in most weekly contests. The first two or three covers move on and then you can have a final vote on eight to twelve of them. Can’t expect foxley to take on more tabulation, though. |

Good idea. 4 months at a time and voting is a 3 day event. Maybe I’ll post a survey to see who will participate.
