Recent new comic I got in the mail earlier today this morning is Rebirth Batman issue 24. I had to order online from the comic book shop that I go to once a few months.
Cant believe that Rebirth Batman 24 is already in its 4th printing stage

Cant believe that Rebirth Batman 24 is already in its 4th printing stage I'd love to say it's because it's a fantastic issue but I think it's probably due more to speculation that this issue will be important due to Bruce's proposal.

The only new comic book I got for this whole month of June is the 3rd or 4th printing of Rebirth Batman issue 24. Cant believe people are buying up that issue over a proposal. Not the first time Batman did something like that. nothing new

Not the first time Batman did something like that. nothing new Yeah, I rarely understand speculation like that but it's sadly not the first time it's happened and it's certainly not the last. I remember just after the Nu52 started that I had a very hard time getting a copy of an issue of Nightwing because it featured the "first" team up with Batgirl. I was a week late getting my books, I had Nightwing on pull and my LCS at the time sold it on me and explained to me that he was sorry but he was getting 40 bucks a pop for it and he'd gladly give me 40 bucks in credit and a later printing of the issue in credit. I took it but stopped shopping there not too much longer after that.

Nick Fury #4
James Robinson & Aco Well I can assure you I never thought I would be here advocating for youse folks to go get a book about Nick Fury Jnr, hell I never thought I'd consider it myself. ...but ...look at this arty stuff, she sho' is purdy... Only the last is from #4 but you get the idea. Cool little caper stories, seem to be essentially done in one. This was Nick infiltrating Atlantis as an Atlantean, tracking a Hydra agent recruiting for Uncle Steve ( BOOOO!!!). Reminds me plenty of Steranko's SHIELD(he uses some interesting layouts that storytell as much as the words), but also the Oceans movies and/or the fun but silly Roger Moore Bond movies. PPP

The art in the new Nick Fury book is amazing. And the stories are fun little one-and-dones, but with a grain of an over-arching sub-plot slowly unfolding the way they used too. My major concern is that the stories are already getting a bit samey.

Avengers #9 Waid/Del Mundo You're killing me here, Waid. What we have here is a very well written one off Silver Age style Thor story.. the art style is not my favorite, but it's unique and not bad, just not my cuppa. One problem... this isn't Thor, this is Avengers. I suppose it ties into Secret Empire in that it answers the question 'Where is Thor?'... but that question didn't need answering, since it's clear in the regular Thor book... sadly, that answer is completely different. Why does it still annoy me? I admit its silly.. Marvel hasn't cared about continuity in many years, but it still does.. every... time. 6/10
