Watched the first part of the 2 part episode that aired this past Sunday (part 2 next Sunday). Loved it, but it would have been better sans Turtles (not a fan of this iteration of the Turtles show or the voice acting for the the TMNT). The opening sequence with Usagi and Jei was amazing and Usagi and Stan's writing shone throughout.

Watched the first part of the 2 part episode that aired this past Sunday (part 2 next Sunday). Loved it, but it would have been better sans Turtles (not a fan of this iteration of the Turtles show or the voice acting for the the TMNT). The opening sequence with Usagi and Jei was amazing and Usagi and Stan's writing shone throughout. -M JEI is in it? Awesome! Where's the Jei figure?? |

It was good. I agree that this version of the Turtles makes my teeth itch, but Usagi was well done. I loved that they worked in some stills of Usagi's origin, straight from the comics.

I'm sure there's a torrent, but I only resort to such things when it's an old film for which no one involved would still be receiving royalties. I definitely want the people who made this to be rewarded, and I want Nickelodeon to get my vote for further projects involving Usagi Yojimbo. So when there's a DVD, I'll be there  |

I hope that happens.. I'm not sure they make DVD of much anymore. I've seen sets of previous seasons at Wal*Mart and pretty much every TV series gets a set these days still. There is still a large sector of the customer base that wants to own hard copies of the movies and TV shows. It's an older demographic, to be sure except for kid's stuff which some parents still use to pop in and use as surrogate babysitters. -M |

I don't go to Walmart much... last few times I've been at Target I feel like the DVD is definitely dwindling, but that's good  ... I don't want Shax to miss out! |

The individual episodes are available after they air for $3 each (HD) on iTunes, Amazon, VUDU, Google Play, etc. Standard definition versions are available for $2.
Just as a side note, I believe this is a 3-episode arc, not 2 episodes.
