Wow Didn't notice these at first From the opening shot of the tower Could that fellow at the bottom be Torgo? No nose, low-set mouth, round thingie right over the eyes, and he was a gladiator in a space arena. I can see that The one on the lower left looks a little like either Thanos or Galactus to me (large square jaw, helmet) but I know I'm wrong in either case. Can't see any way two guys like that could somehow be wrangled up by the Grandmaster and forced to fight as gladiators, obedience disk or not. All I know is that if I get to see Hulk fight Bi-Beast in the arena, I'll lose my mind. Same if we get to see actual appearances by Man-Thing or Beta Ray Bill.

Seems like a lot of people are complaining ever since Taika Waititi announced that the movie would be roughly 100 minutes long.
My question would be...why, exactly?
I don't really care if they don't go super in-depth explaining every character/scenario in the movie. Waititi already said a year ago that this was essentially going to be a throwback "buddy cop" film starring Thor and Hulk with some elements of Planet Hulk and Ragnarok sprinkled in. Personally, I'm tired of these movies now getting to be over 2 1/2 hours long. For as much as I loved Civil War, it felt like a slog to get through after the first 2 hours. Even Logan started to grate on me by the time Logan and Lara met up with the mutant kids in the treehouse (thankfully it was immediately followed by an amazing climax).
This movie looks like an absolute blast and should be action packed from start to finish.

Yeah, what's the problem? The advantage of movie universes is that we already know all these guys; no need to delve into their past histories and what makes them click. Character development can be done on the fly, as the action proceeds.
I'd much rather have a tighter movie than one that meanders into pointless foreshadowings of future films like Age of Ultron did!

Exactly I don't need 20-30 minutes of Skurge backstory, followed by another 20-30 minute setup of Fenris, followed by another 20-30 minutes devoted to Surtur, etc. If I get to see Thor and Hulk pal around and give us a couple of epic action sequences and Cate Blanchett is given sufficient time to shine as Hela...then I'll be more than satisfied.

Dear Marvel,
This is my wallet. You will be seeing a lot of it on November 3rd...and 4th...and 5th...
You know what, just keep it. Saves me the time and effort of taking it out of my pocket.
Sincerely, The Captain

New behind the scenes look gives us a bit of insight into Hela. I continue to be impressed with how cool Cate Blanchett looks as the character.

The look on Loki's face is priceless !!! This looks like it could be the funnest superhero movie ever. Getting tired of how most of these Marvel movies (with the exception of GotG) have to follow a strict formula. Supposedly Marvel gave Waititi the greenlight to allow the actors to do a ton of improvisation. Should be great

Hela looks really good and I'm impressed by her performance in this film. Cate is something else in this film. They did a good job on the headdress of Hela and I was stunned by the visual imagery here and these video clips are very noteworthy.
