It's an excellent series, I'd even say a must-read for any comics fan who's also a Bond fan. One of the best Bond stories outside the original Fleming novels, though it's probably influenced more by the films than the books, at least as far as the plot-line and pace of narrative is concerned.

If you're after a good comic series that hews more closely to the novels, I'd recommend Permission to Die by Mike Grell.

If you're after a good comic series that hews more closely to the novels, I'd recommend Permission to Die by Mike Grell. Thanks, didn't know about that one. I'm not sure I like Grell's artwork enough to enjoy reading his Bond story but I'll take a look at it for sure.
