Does it count if the heroine gets caught in the act by the villains? I like it. Is this a foreign comic Dizzy? I'm having no luck searching Lone Star for "Franka", "Gangsterfilm" or "Big Balloon".

Like fanboystranger said, it's a dutch comic, but it has been translated into german, french and danish. www.franka.nl/home.htmlBig Balloon used to be a big dutch publisher, they still publish comics but mostly aimed at young readers these days: translations of Dora the Explorer and Disney comics, but they do still have the brilliant history-book comic "From Nul tot Nu". Henk Kuijpers, the writer/artist of Franka has self-published the series since late 90s. New issue coming out in a month or two.

Does it count if the heroine gets caught in the act by the villains? I don't make the rules, but FWIW, I love the "loose interpretations" of the themes. Already I can see that I'm really gonna struggle to narrow down my vote to just one.

Caught in the act of apprehending the criminal. I'd love to learn how they came up with that recoloring of Flash #252

God bless Charlie Biro. I wanted to talk about how the phantom "influence" of Mr. Crime irresponsibly absolves the criminal of his horrific behavior a la "the Devil made me do it," but after careful consideration, I've just gotta know "The Mystery of Indian Dick."

I almost used that Crime Does Not Pay #24 cover myself, but... yeah. Hard to believe, but there's actually a much more gruesome "caught in the act" classic golden age cover that hasn't been posted yet and that I briefly considered. But it's a bridge too far for me.

Pretty sure I know the one you're thinking of. It's been on my want list for years. Really hoping to see it here.
But, yeah. That CDNP #24 is a doozy. Any idea what the story is with Indian Dick, Scott? Does it have a point?
