We're all well aware of this, I know, but it bears repeating: a bunch of really smart humans successfully took a picture of a black hole. Science!  But the Earth is flat and evolution is a lie! And vaccines don't work, and GMOs cause cancer! Plus, the moon landing was faked by Stanley Kubrick! I've seen it on Youtube conspiracy channels, the ultimate authority on anything scientific! |

This brought me back to the early days of space exploration, when we’d watch the Apollo missions take off on our black and white television.
Seeing the boosters make their perfect landing was quite impressive!!!

An unmanned Chinese mission to the moon is exploring the dark side of the moon and their findings in a large asteroid crater (the Von Karman crater) could go a long way towards understanding the formation and make up of our moon. Apparently the asteroid hit was deep enough to break through the crust and allow minerals form the mantle to have bubbled up and samples of those minerals could revela quite abit about the moon's make up and increase our understanding of its formation. This is the first landing on the dark side of the moon, something even NASA has not achieved. -M |

Yes, it is and that Zorro was made in 1975 and eventually moved to United States in June 1976 is considered my most favorite ZORRO movie of all times. The music score, the landscape, the action scenes, and the pace of this movie was unforgettable. Stanley Baker as Colonel Huerta was the perfect villain and when you add Delon to the mix these two had great chemistry together. Ottavia Piccolo (as Contessina Ortensia Pulido), Moustache (Sgt. Garcia), and Enzo Cerusico who played Zorro's servant made it even better. I watch this movie pretty much on an annual basis and never, ever disappoints me. Alain Delon's made ZORRO a masterful Zorro with Style, Grace, and Power. The movie is on YouTube too. |

So are octopus going to become the new lab rats...? Part of me is excited what they might find out, but part of me thinks this could be a very bad idea as I have visions of Chulhu awakening to avenge the mistreatment of his spawn or some mad scientist breeding a Cthulhu-esque thing from the advances made in studying cephalopod DNA. And is "manager of cephalopod operations" a euphemism for Cthulhu cultist? -M |
