In adventure comics 435, why does the cop ask 'Clark Kent' (Earl Crawford) if he really is Superman? Had Superman just been revealed as Clark Kent at that time? Was that a major storyline in the Superman comics at that time? It was a joke. A play on the fact that the Crawford character looked like Kent and that Lois Lane was always trying to prove Kent was Superman in the Silver and Bronze Age.
