Just came off of a weekend-long 3-day gig at the annual Middle Tennessee Highland Games. Had a blast as always, and it also allowed me the opportunity to stock up on some of my favorite products from just north of Hadrian's Wall, as they have all kinds of vendors, from Highland outfitters to booksellers, artists to UK grocery vendors (and of course, there are also adult beverage vendors).
Anyhow, as a result, I'm supplementing my lunch today (New England Clam Chowder) with a couple of favorite items-- namely, the (non-alcoholic) Nectar of the Gods, Irn-Bru,
And for my post-lunch sweet tooth, a Tunnock's Caramel Wafer biscuit (this time, I went for the dark chocolate version). I've mentioned these before, but as Confessor once said "perhaps one of the most perfect foods on Earth" (paraphrased).
Yes, they're that good.
sigh... now if only I could lay my hands on a carton of Yorkie w/Raisin bars...
Nevertheless, this is me, after lunch today... carry on.

Some years ago, I bought a bottle of Irn-Bru for myself and one to share with my coworker from Publix and we did a taste test with fellow employees. The general reaction was that it did not taste good and my manager said that it tasted like "rusty nails in battery acid"

tartanphantom , I haven’t seen Yorkie w/raisin for many, many years. I’m sure there was another Yorkie spin-off, too, might have been honeycomb flavour. These are quite nice, I hope you might find these one day:

Oh, the Raisin & Biscuit is still being produced, and are available on Amazon, but the prices are all over the map. $31 USD + shipping for a dozen, and no sellers with a Prime option.

So, I took my cat Derek (the Cleric) to the vet today, concerned about his behavior with some of his cat treats, his fur getting all matted, and just weight loss, over time. He got a pretty clean bill of health, which puts me at ease. I give him cat treats, when I get home from work and he usually gobbled them up; but, he had been spitting some of the nuggets back out the side of his mouth, with a little shake. His hair is all mated on his hind quarters and he has gotten kind of skinny. He's 16, so the combination of things had me concerned enough to make an appointment. The vet said his teeth look great and he didn't see any masses or ulcers in his mouth and his general health seemed good. he had plenty of energy to squirm around; so, it seems I was a bit paranoid. He hasn't been vomiting or showing signs of internal issues, so we are just going to keep an eye on him. $55 bought more than a little piece of mind.
We adopted Derek about 8 years ago, with another cat, who we called Punky (for pumpkin, as he was a beige and orange tabby). Derek kind of bullied him, at first (Punky was still an older kitten, at around 10 months old); but, once he established dominance, he seemed to chill out and they would romp and play and wrestle on the bed. Sadly, when we moved, the bottom popped loose from the crappy Walmart pet taxi and they got loose. Derek stayed close by and was easily corralled; but, Punky got spooked and bolted away. I spent two days trying to find him, with no luck. We had to console ourselves with the idea that someone found him and took him in. We alerted the animal control people and he was chipped, but we never received any notices.
Two years ago, we adopted Aja, as a tiny kitten, with an oversized personality and she acts as Cato, to Derek's Inspector Clouseau, pouncing on him and grabbing ahold of him, when he least expects it. He tolerates it up to a point, and then you hear him hiss and thump her. She's right back at it a minute later.
So, my day got a lot brighter and my little buddy should be around for a while longer.
