I've been a poster on many of your boards and didn't cause any upheaval. I never threatened anyone, never sent a nasty PM to any one, never caused harm mentally to anyone. I've talked comics, classic comics mainly, which you've pretty much threw out in the trash with the reboot. My avatar isn't threatening and doesn't make people upset; it's a lady holding some cantaloupes. Because some people threatened someone I don't know of didn't even know the news of until you posted your ultimatum, why must others suffer for their stupid instincts. I'm about your age, I'm an adult, not so late teen/early 20 something. Your attempt of making the boards more friendly is fine, but the CBRNu52 doesn't make what you're attempting to do work. It's a handful of hostiles that ruined it for someone that likes to interact with the people and talk about our passion. Block them, give them a DOS, do what you think is right for that person. The avatar stays. I've already sent an email of displeasure already on the new boards and haven't heard back from your group yet. - R Here's the reply: You have been banned for the following reason: Made simple request to change icon and title, responded rudely and defensively. Date the ban will be lifted: 05-13-2014, 10:00 AM Rudely? Nah..just correct. Defensively? Maybe but still correct.

Captain America 2 had some stuff going on under the hood. I actually felt this one would have been stronger as a standalone instead of being tied to the rest of the MU movies, because it was just... better than the others. And I like the others fine as entertainment, but Cap 2 felt like an actual movie in its own right. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

^Huh. I remember a poster who would always sport these cheesecakey gifs for avatars, one of them was a running, bouncy anime lady.
Not once did I see folks protest or get upset over it. Part of the appeal of the CBR forums for me was the good-natured raciness.

For years I rooted (half-heartedly) for the Yankees just because I hated the Red Sox because of some comment the owner or GM made years ago. My favorite sports day was the last day of the 2012 seasons, when the Cardinals won and Braves lost getting the Cardinals in the playoffs and the Orioles beat the Red Sox and the Rays beat the Yankees (I believe sitting their stars) to knock the Red Sox out. When the Cardinals played them in the World Series last year I was really excited. It was the perfect World Series for the Cardinals to win. Of course they didn't. But I realized during that series that the Red Sox were a really likable bunch of guys and now I've completely flipped on the Yankees/Red Sox thing. You're a wishy-washy fan. So you don't count as anyone's fan As for the rest of you-If I'm the only Yankees fan on this board then so be it. By the Power of Jeter they'll be more pleasure when we take it all this year.Mark my words.Even if we have to buy every last player we're going all the way.Bwahhh ha ha ha

I'm a lifelong Sox fan, so obviously I don't like the Yankees. But I have to say that the relentless media hyping and appropriation of the Red Sox - Yankees rivalry since 2003 has just made their meetings very tedious to me at this point. I used to get pumped up for Yankees series, but now they just make me tired. All these outsiders glomming on for ratings is just so annoying and makes the whole thing seem fake.

My God, what a travesty the CBR forum operations have become. Yeap...since 2006. Yeah, it is. And yeah, it has. Frankly, I'm alright with it. Might as well make the CBR trains run on time than run the site correctly.

That post didn't make it clear, but I'm not a fan of the Red Sox or the Yankees. The only team I'm a fan of is the St Louis Cardinals. I do try to follow the league as a whole, though, and as a result form opinions about other teams. I didn't like when the Red Sox GM/owner/whatever was complaining about the Yankees having an unfair advantage because of how much they spend on payroll when the Red Sox had the second highest payroll and it was closer to the Yankees' than the team with the third highest. That made me "for the Yankees" only in so much as a Yankees win upsets the Red Sox. During last year's World Series I came to like the Red Sox.

Welcome to the CBRNu52, where everything changes for the worse. This is offensive? Pffft...please. How is this any worse than Terry Dodson or Frank Cho artwork? Or that awful Teen Titans #1 cover for that matter.

Boston fans where pretty vocal when Ellsbury appeared at Fenway last week as well. But I agree that the Yankee-Red Sox rivalry has lost something and I'm not sure why. It started being intense in the late 70s when both had great teams (and we had Bucky effin Dent).so maybe after 30-35 years its bound to loosen up but something tells me it will be very easy to stroke the fires again

OK then, thats different.I repect the Redbirds, great history.Love to see a re-enactment of the 1964 World Series which was the first I followed
