Dan's cats are the most valuable members of our community. That is a terrifying thought.

"Most valuable" in the sense of "most expensive," quite possibly ...
Though of course we've got at least one teenage girl as well, courtesy of wildfire, so maybe not.

I tend to split the superhero community into 2 factions-those that like Krypto and those that like a bunch of pesky cats.

This is no longer a space to vent about CBR. It was appropriate to give everyone time to discuss, commiserate, and move on, but it's been a week, and frankly, I see some people coming here JUST to complain without contributing anything positive to the community. Continued venting about CBR will no longer be tolerated.

The picture is not as disturbing as the amount of energy that must have gone into finding it

No need for apologies. Your feelings about what occurred are understandable, but it's time for this community to move forward and not just be that place where we go to complain about CBR.

Back to a more familiar Conan themed avatar by Crom! Not the Conan I used before but Conan. -M Much better. The previous image and dearth of Red Sox references made me think we had an imposter in our midst

I'll admit I was seriously digging your Sanctum Sanctorum image, but as Conan pics go, that's an excellent one.

I may do a NFL Draft thread tomorrow guys. I used to do one and had every Draft pick and actual brief bit . This Draft is expected to a ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN . So no one knows if Football Johnny goes #1 or Clowney . Or even if they go in the top 5-10 picks.

MRP-Don't know if you caught this.Mariano Rivera has a book coming out.In it he says Robinson Cano is so talented, definitely a hall-of-fame type so far,but does not have the burn-for-success personality. If Rivera had to choose a 2nd baseman as a teammate,he'd go with Dustin Pedroia because he admires that man's intensity to win

I know people are all high on Clowney being the number one pick, saying he's one of those once in a generation players, but I'd have to go with Khalil Mack as the best all around person in the draft. Clowney can't really play the line, can't back pedal and cover for ess, and wasn't the fastest in the 40. Mack had better numbers and its a better player all around. Granted he's an OLB, but I'm sticking with Mack as the overall #1 pick. Have fun with the draft. I'm more curious about how Kelly will draft since they're housecleaning 5 years of terrible picks from Reid; probably going to go with that WR from Oregon State.

I went on record in the old NFL thread and I will repeat it now, I think Johnny Football will be a bust of epic proportions. He is talented, but he will too easily get caught up in the fame and lifestyle, and he already thinks he's better than anyone else so I doubt he will grind the effort to really learn playbooks and defenses to get the point where he can be great at the NFL level. NFL players are faster and more experienced than college players and Manziel is too caught up with his own hype to be able to take it to the next level like he needs to. -M So he's the 21st Century Ryan Leaf then...
