I hope it happens, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Nathan graduated from high school last night. Two down...one to go. Congrats to all involved. At my graduation, I was chosen to give the benediction ... god help us (no pun intended).

Dan, I want to say you commented on this on the other board. Anyway, I was listening to The Low End Theroy last night and I remember you posting you favorite Tribe Called Quest song but I can't remember what it was. Can you refresh my memory?

There's not a bad song on The Low End Theory or Midnight Marauders or Beats, Rhymes and Life.

For some reason, the video isn't showing up as I type this, even though it's there in "Edit." Probably just my laptop being stubborn, but in case it isn't, it's "I Left My Wallet in El Segundo."

We'll my wife's grandmother heard my interest in trying a pipe a while back. We were helping her box up and move things and she gave me her brothers briar pipe. He died 5-6 years ago and hasn't been used. So I need to get a pipe tool to properly clean it and then some tobacco to try it out. Plus need to do some reading on cleaning, care, packing and what not as I have never done this before.

I have my 35th HS reunion this friday and Saturday. I'm not ashamed to say that I've been dieting down for the event.

My wife and I finally got a chance to go and see X-Men Days of Future Past this afternoon. I had very low expectations going in, but I was pleasantly surprised. I quite liked it, and it may actually turn out to be my favorite of the X-films. It minimized the characters and performers in the films I did not like and kept the focus on those I did, which meant it had the fewest eye rolling moments of any X-film thus far The character dynamics were actually quite good and the story kept me into the film despite a few odd scene transitions here and there. -M

R.I.P. Alice....
Ann B. Davis, most famous for her role as Alice on the Brady Bunch, but also the inspiration for the initial look of Pepper Potts, passed away this weekend at age 88.
The Brady Bunch was pretty much the definition of ubiquitous in my formative years, so I have great affection for her work. Rest well.

I have my 35th HS reunion this friday and Saturday. I'm not ashamed to say that I've been dieting down for the event. My 35th would've been two years ago. I was voted "boy who changed the most" at my 10th, but that was the last one I went to. It was also the last one I knew about. Either my former classmates have been avoiding me, or no reunions have been held since (which never really occurred to me as likely till I saw a reference to another class that had done that when I was catching up over the Memorial Day weekend with about 4 years of posts on a "You Know You're From ____ If You Remember _______" Facebook site I'd just joined).
