Just learned that my supervisor wasn't aware that Muhammad Ali had died. Way to keep up with the news. As awesome as Ali specifically was, I hardly begrudge any one having enough of a life to not keep up with social media death notifications. These days Facebook and Youtube all too often remind me of my father when he used to read the paper during supper and share obituaries and other depressing news items with us for reasons only he knew. Unfortunately, the supervisor in question is also very heavy-handed in dictating how we handle social media ... toward which she in turn is so clueless that I'd be surprised if she has any idea how to post. Seems to me that if you're going to pretend being knowledgeable about something, you should at least be aware of what's on it & how it works.

Ugh can't sleep >.< I've don't get much sleep either - I get about 2-3 hours a sleep a day and that's enough sleep for me!

Let's me explain this ... I'm totally deaf in one (my left) and hard of hearing (my right) and I wear hearing aid in my right ear and I don't wear my hearing aid about 12-15 hours a day and I usually at home most of the time. When, I do go out and do my errands I try my best to avoid noise at all costs. When, I go to a movie - I go to a theater that offers closed captioning. My 3 hours of sleep is equivalent of six hours of sleep of what everyone else gets and I also get about 2 naps a day about 15-20 minutes each and I'm good for another 5 hours of alertness each. When, I do sleep it's very deep and I don't hear a thing - no aid cars, no loud noises, and anyone coming to my door - I have a light that wakes me up when my doorbell rings. So, if I'm sleeping ... my hearing aid is a mere yard away and easy to put on and answer the door. I've been doing this since I was retired from work in 2007 and I get a lot done during the day/night and I love watching late night television of where they have interesting documentaries that I can learn about anything that I like and all that. So, that should answer your question and I workout at the gym (open 24 hours) between 2 AM and 4 AM in the morning and hardly anyone there. That's one advantage that I got over everyone else.

6 hours is alright even if border-too-little. But how do your 3 hours equal 6, How is that related to your bad hearing?

Sounds like a complicated life. Sleep is important because it repairs the body and the mind. I guess naps during the day might help, but generally, 6 -8 hours is the guideline. But Mr. Mecha , you have to do what works for you.

When I go to sleep - I go to sleep very quickly and quite effortlessly and I have no interference from noise. Noise is a major factor of why normal people can't sleep and having said that being severely hard of hearing (deaf in one ear - my left) and limited hearing with an hearing aid in my right can help me to go to sleep faster than 99% of the people in the world. I'm a bit extreme on the percentages here but face it - I don't hear any noise at all when I go to sleep at all. That's a big advantage to have. When, I was working - I usually get to bed around 10:00 PM and get up around 4:30 AM every single day for work. Plus, I wear hearing aid all day long and that's contributed to my tiresome and makes me worn out quickly and therefore I need at least 7 hours of sleep and I don't take naps either. Now, I'm not working anymore that's a big factor here - no stress means more relax and therefore I don't require much sleep at all. My doctors told me that I don't need much sleep at all and told me that I can get by on 3 hours a sleep a day and two quick cat-naps of 15 minutes each and that's I do pretty much 80% of the year. When, I'm on vacation, attending club events, and doing things with my family and friends - I always get about 5-7 hours a sleep at night and that's no fooling either.
