Yesterday, we apparently broke the record for most users ever online at the same time (101). Love seeing this community continuing to grow ...and I wasn't even here yesterday...

Hey, if I gotta hear about Sam & Dean non-stop, she can hear about Thanos and Warlock once in a while. :-) I like both! Do you two have a long lost offspring? I like a few of the episodes. I've watched more of the early stuff. To me, like Fringe, it went off the rails, as far as my interest in it, a long time ago. Not that I know of. :-) If anyone ever read the B&W digest size adventures of Gon the mischievous and diminutive T-Rex by Masashi Tanaka there is a 26 episode series on Netflix instant I am about to watch that I never knew existed. Hopefully it'll be as fun as the books. But the intro already seems it's really geared for kids. Do you know when this was made? I believe it was 2013 that it was dated on Netflix. If you mean the manga, they were coming out in the mid 90's. Somewhere around 95-96 I think. But they've been since reprinted by another publisher.

I can't believe I missed the series.

I always liked the manga as they were just kid friendly, but necessarily for kids. The show (though I only watched one episode) is marketed for kids, and takes even the small adult bite out of the manga. And I'd prefered traditional animation over the style of CG they used.

Wow that bad of a movie huh? So I'll just stick with the Batman TAS appearances I guess.

I've been in my first "comics are meh" slump of my life for the past few months, which has been weird. I've even been to a few comic shops and used book stores and see books I would normally buy in a heartbeat, but for some reason, I don't feel any need or desire to buy them. Hopefully it comes to pass soon.

My heart is grieved tonight as news of yet another shooting of an unarmed black man came out of North Miami today. The victim is a therapist who had entered the street to help one of his patients, a 23 year-old autistic man who was holding a toy truck that had been identified in a 911 call as a gun.
The therapist, thankfully only shot in the leg and minorly injured, was on the ground with his hands up and complying with all of the police's orders when he was fired upon. When he asked why the cop shot him, the cop replied "I don't know".
Please pray for a change in this nation so that events like this stop happening and that healing can begin.

Why when doing an unrelated google image search am I just now finding out there was a Jonah Hex movie? How did that pass under my radar? We have that other thread of movies that bombed and most mentioned actually didn't when you factor in world-wide sales and post-theatrical money from home video etc. But Jonah Hex? A tremendous bomb!!!!! Only 18 people saw it it in the theaters
