...because an animated GIF used by an advertiser kept forcing my browser to scroll to the bottom of every page I opened. Can we do something about this, please?

Proboards is running the ads until November, but I believe there is way to report ads. any idea what company or product it was for? |

I turned off Ad Blocker to try to find out but it's not doing it today, so either they caught it themselves or it was some freak thing Firefox was doing. Anyway, all's well for now.

This is back - both yesterday and today it happened to me. It's a specific ad, not sure which one, but I got rid of it by simply going to a new screen to get a new set of ads.
But it's super annoying!

This is back - both yesterday and today it happened to me. It's a specific ad, not sure which one, but I got rid of it by simply going to a new screen to get a new set of ads. But it's super annoying! Next time it happens, there may be a blue triangle at the top right that you can click in order to report the ad. if not, take note of what company or service was being advertised so that I can look into it. I'll add that there doesn't appear to be a blue triangle on that particular ad.

I'll look into this if it is still an issue when I get home late tonight. We no longer host the ads directly, so this is something Proboards needs to be made aware of. Chances are, they're already on it. If not, I'll follow up with them myself.

Right now, the Alfa Romeo is not showing up and every once a while an AD (Alfa Romeo does that) pulls you to the bottom of the forum of and that's when I started having trouble with it. That's the time I turned it off and I was able to resume posting and I'm on my merry ways. These problematic ads don't let me quote and post here in this forum and that's why I got frustrated with them. I have seen this happen before and my memory serve me that the Alfa Romeo is one of those ads that causes all the problems that I'm having here. I've disabled my ad blocker now. |

The Alfa Romeo ads did it again and this time asking you to listen an audio clip of some kind. It's drags you instantly to that clip whatever you like it or not.
With a message click here for audio.
It did it 4 times in less than a minute and it's super annoying when you trying to update/edit your post here. That ads is driving me crazy!
Turn on the ad blocker for the 2nd time today.
