not sure how I got to this one 1st, but yay! Why are robots susceptible to laughing gas? Better question; why is chloroform making them laugh. Laughing gas in nitrous oxide.

How did Doc afford to replace Gold so many times (nevermind Platinum, who also died almost every issue). it's walking, talking robots. . . just go with it (besides, I've always referred to this cover as "the Bukkake issue" -- seriously, go take a good look at that cover)

The first thing I thought of was any random Metal Men cover, but the best one has been used! (Metal Men #6 is just all-around awesome!) And then I thought of Goldface! Of all the great stupid Silver Age villains, he may be the greatest and stupidest!

Of all the great stupid Silver Age villains, he may be the greatest and stupidest! Almost used this! So glad you did. How many villains named "Gold"+"body part" were there in the mid-60s? Here's Gold zinger... and, of course, Starfinger!

The Brave and the Bold #160 by Jim Aparo I suspect Batman never had any intention of going any closer, he just wanted Supergirl to keep hugging him.

Speaking of Goldfoot, Rob Zombie makes a reference to him in his song Living Dead Girl. Gold foots machine creates another fiend So beautiful they make you, kill

Well, I've looked and looked and looked, but I just can't find any covers to post for this contest. So I'm gonna have to sit this one out.
You'd think there would be several comic book covers featuring an occasionally-existing table popping in and out.

You'd think there would be several comic book covers featuring an occasionally-existing table popping in and out. Dr. Fate's windowless, doorless Salem tower had a Periodic Table. It drove Inza crazy as she'd put things on the table and it would disappear and all her stuff would be on the floor. (Dr. Fate would tell Sargon and Zatara and Ibis all about it and they would laugh and laugh.) I don't think it was ever on the cover though.

If you are going to vote for me ... make sure you put Avatar Man ... instead of Caped Crusader ... I changed my username today to reflect how often that I change my Avatars.
