My bad with the ice cream cover. Was so caught up in googling something other than "candy" I forgot to use my brain. Finding such a cool cover AND it's by Frank Robbins, I just had to use it. Thanks for eliminating me from this week already... 😆 I'd say it's not disqualifying. Let the people speak. ^ absolutely agree. leave it be, and let's see where the votes fall, it's a great cover. |

I liked this cover so much, it was probably the only current mainstream comic I bought for a period of 4 or 5 years. I was at a con in NYC, where I mainly picked up undergrounds (despite being underage), fanzines, portfolios, etc., but I saw this on a dealers table and grabbed it. The cover is from an inside story drawn by Alex Toth, who called it "stupid" or something like that in an interview. He based the lead character's image on Julie Schwartz. |

So many great covers this week, like Icctrombone (which is the one I originally was going to use before I decided to go less literal with the topic), chickenpocket (with maybe the only comic more obscure than mine), and kirby101 (how can you not love the Fat Fury).
However, in the end, I'm just a stupid guy, so please don't think less of me for voting for..
