Well since so many folks have already gone the Hawkman route, I guess I'll have to fall back on.... and a couple of winged demon types menacing my favorite barbarian. -M

After a bit of research, I am confident these meet the definition of wings:

Love that Nick Cardy Detective comics cover. Batman must like gals that dress up just like he does. Guy can't even go out on date without someone crashing the party.

After a bit of research, I am confident these meet the definition of wings: Wings have to have feathers i believe. these creatures are more akin to gliding animals who use a flap of skin. I call shenanigans and demand a ruling from chief justice pince-nez

Bats and planes have wings without feathers. Man-bat doesn't have feathers. Neither does Paul Mccartney, for that matter.

Bats and planes have wings without feathers. you are right a : one of the movable feathered or membranous paired appendages by means of which a bird, bat, or insect is able to fly; also : such an appendage even though rudimentary if possessed by an animal belonging to a group characterized by the power of flight b : any of various anatomical structures (as of a flying fish or flying lemur) providing means of limited flight has to fall into category b. I always thought glidey animals didnt classify as winged. objection over ruled. (it was only a lil tomfoolery anyway of course)
